The Book of Bangalow

The Book of Bangalow, a business & community directory is an initiative of the Chamber of Commerce.  First publihsed in 2004, it contained information about the town and the postcode area of 2479 as well as listing all local businesses and community groups.

That first edition was well received and since then, a new ‘Book of Bangalow’ has been produced each year, every time getting bigger and better.

The Book of Bangalow is now the ‘phone’ directory’ of choice for locals wanting to find goods, services and information. The Chamber is firmly committed to supporting a strong local economy.

Bangalow Chamber of Commerce

The aim of the Chamber is to provide a network of support for local businesses and the community. We are committed to sustainable growth, renewal and prosperity and believe that we can meet the diverse needs of our community while also respecting our surrounding eco systems.

The Chamber is  involved with major Bangalow events, such as the Billy Cart Derby, The Bangalow Music Festival the Bangalow Film Fiesta and the Xmas Eve Celebrations and we encourage our members' involvement in their organisation.

The Chamber is active in lobbying our Council, State and Federal Governments on issues of concern to Bangalow businesses, including traffic and parking solutions.

BECOME A MEMBER

We encourage ALL businesses in the Bangalow area(2479 postcode), whether you are a shopkeeper, accommodation operator, farmer, accountant or artisan, to become a member of the Chamber. Not only is it the most inexpensive and effective way to promote your business, it also gives you the opportunity to get more involved in your community, have your say, and help get things done.

Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of every month (except December). You can join at the meeting or simply fill in the membership coupon below. Annual membership fee is $65. Your fees are tax deductible
